Hello everyone,
This week has certainly been interesting! We've been teaching extensively and enjoying the company of fellow missionaries. It's been filled with activities and fun.The week began with Zone Conference and a dinner appointment. We learned a lot about the Spirit's role in our work and how to draw closer to it, so that we can better recognize promptings.
Wednesday and Thursday were busy with teaching and finding new people to teach. We also dedicated time to deep cleaning our bathrooms and kitchen.
We've had many positive experiences with members this week. We helped a member from Germany move into her new apartment and enjoyed a service appointment with a local family who always welcomes the missionaries. It's truly a blessing to spend time with these families and strive to be the best examples we can. This is one of the most impactful ways we can contribute to the future of faith in Denmark: by simply being good examples.
One of the best activities that we have done was this fast Sunday when we all came together to break our fast in a big eating appointment! We gathered and brought something to share with everyone! We made some Peach Crumble, which made me happy, because I really love cooking!
The big spiritual aspect of this week is what happened at the end of our eating appointment yesterday. We all got the opportunity prompted by one of the senior couples to share our testimonies. It was really good to see the joy that the Gospel has given to all these people and the different ways that the gospel impacts. We all shared testimonies about a variety of principles and topics. It all ended on a very good note and we enjoyed the feeling of getting to share with each other. We often share with others so much that we sometimes forget to share to those right around us.
As for some more fun this week it will get noted below in this bulletin:
- We made food for the sisters because they doubted my cooking!
- We ate lunch at this really cool Italian food places that was definitely some of the best food we have ever eaten
- I made a lot of food this week and realized that I really love cooking
Thank you everyone for your prayers and have a great week!
Love,
Elder Lines
