Hello everyone,
This week has been absolutely amazing! We had the opportunity to do some fun stuff and we got the news for the next transfer. All in all it got completely switched around!
To begin we started this week pretty normally with some knocking doors and just everyday missionary work. We knocked on doors for 4 hours with no success and just a lot of people telling us that what we are doing is illegal. However, we got to see a super cool castle and it was magical as the night lit up the water around it. I am happy to say that although we didn't find anybody we definitely got some good experiences!
The next few days came fast and were a blast! We had a lesson with our friend who we had done service for many times. We talked and although it was challenging & hard our conversation went pretty well overall! That night we took the time to prepare ourselves for SPLITS. That's right! We got to go up to Rosekilde to have some splits with the missionaries up there. One of them being my trainer! It was such a blast and we just had a very memorable time!
The day after the splits we had Distrikt BLITZ SPLITS! We went to Næstved and got to have a blast with a bunch of missionaries. We ate some burgers after and headed home for the day.
Sunday was pretty good but the best part about it was that we got to give talks! I wrote mine completely in Danish too and it was surprisingly good without any grammar checks. The topic was Jesus Christ's Atonement in our everyday life! I shared some good stories (like how my parents made me sit on the stairs of repentance with my siblings when we weren't getting along....until we could be kinder to each other) but to sum it up... I know there is no other way other than through Jesus Christ that we get salvation! I have seen the blessings and seen the many ways that He has answered my prayers. In preparation for the talk, I listened to the song A Child's Prayer. God really does answer every person's prayers!
This week was amazing and I am thankful for all of your prayers!
Love,
Elder Lines
