Snowing and Raining
Hello everyone!
This week has been amazing and we have seen the miracles of the work! Along with the rain and snow it has led to some interesting events. Time is litereally flying and I am very happy.
This last week we have had quite a few lessons and even had some splits with the ZLs! We taught quite a few lessons and have seen the hand of the Lord guiding and helping these people to find us! I won't mention them all but it all has to do with challenges and people recognizing and acting on spiritual promptings. I have come to understand that many people have challenges. I also have come to understand that a belief in Jesus Christ helps lighten our loads and provides hope.
This topic of acting on spiritual promptings has really impacted us as a mission and we have seen the importance of listening to the spirit! We have been focusing on Chapter 4 of Preach my Gospel and we have found some cool ways to always listen and be active in our pursuits of spiritual promptings! We will be having a zone conference tomorrow so we hope that we can hear some more about it.
A kind of fun experience this week has been the service that we have done with the members! We went to this member's house and helped her with her computer and made some authentic Chinese dumplings! We also went to this other member's house and made some holes in their ground and they gave us some waffles! It sometimes feels like an exchange of services but the best part is always getting to know them and sharing a short spiritual thought. I will forever be grateful for the good members and our connection with them.
The main topic of this week by many was the weather! We had a lot of snow and rain which made it hard to find and talk to people. We still had a good time and learned to really appreciate the times when the weather is better. This week looks promising!
Thank you to everyone that prays for the missionaries! We appreciate the support! Have a great week! See you next time!

A lot of Social Media and A Good Beginning
Hello everyone!
This week has been amazing and I am excited to be sharing! It really feels like the beginning of the transfer even though I have been here for awhile. We have really been getting used to the flow and we have a good organization in our work. The weather has definetely been weird though and has included a lot of snow and rain!
The last couple of days have been really fun because we have had a lot of member appointments and had a lot of social media referrals! Due to that we have not been finding as much as we have before. We have had some big miracles with social media though which is why we are focusing on it. It's been fun experience this success. Even if it is different.
One of said miracles was a man called Alexander! He is from Romania and has been looking for faith in his life. He lives in Denmark now and really wants to find some answers. We met with him at the perfect time in the library right before it was closing. It was meant to be and we were very excited to hear that he wanted to learn. We are excited about teaching him.
We had these two other eating appointments! One of them was with members and the other was with an African family! The member was super sweet and loves missionaries. Her kids have always grown up with missionaries in the home and she loved feeding us. Which we are always grateful for. I am not used to many eating appointments coming for Bornholm and the small branch there. The next family was from Africa! They are so cool and gave us authentic African food. We ate with our hands and then read in the scriptures. They want to come to Church and we love that there are young people willing to be Christian and stand for that! We will be meeting again on Sunday!
The week has also been teaching us really to listen to the spirit! We had splits on Thursday and had a baptismal interview for their friend! They are ready but just need a bit more love. That interview was very spiritual and we really needed to focus on the promptings. It was good to see that guidance comes. Another miracle. I'm always grateful for those kinds of miracles.
The rest of the week has been a weird mix of busy appointments and train rides! We bike around to a lot of places and take the train to go faster and further. I love the Danish public transportation system! It is really good!
The pictures from this week are of our eating appointments and then some splits that we had.
Thank you everyone for your support and prayers. I love hearing about your lives!

Some snow and some Lessons
Hello everyone!
It has been an amazing week and we had some interesting weather! We got a good amount of snow and the cold doesn't help! All in all I have never felt more alive biking on the ice and almost falling!
This week though has definitely been highlighted by little miracles because we have had a lot of interactions that were definitely meant to be! We have thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and all of the conversations!
We started out this week with some lessons and some biking just around Ballerup! The Danes do not like going outside so it really is fun to stay inside and witness all their habits! They really like to be warm and it is another habit because of their culture of Hygge!
The last part of this week week has been rushing around biking to reach all of our appointments! We have had a lot of member appointments and a lot of lessons in places that were definitely hard to get to! My legs are hurting and it means hard work!
Through all the appointments this week though it is a real reminder that God can fill in the gaps and helps us to be effective in all areas! Missionary life can be busy but it teaches some really good management!
As for the spiritual side this week, we have had some very spiritual lessons but through it all I saw that the Lord is progressing his work! The spirit attests that what we are doing is important and it helps us to make the changes necessary! Starting this new year we have been much more diligent is social media and in goals setting! We hope to carry this energy and spirit throughout the entire year!
Thank you everyone for the support and I wish you all a good week! Here are some pictures from the week!

Ballerup and a bunch of snow
Hello everyone,
This week has been amazing! We have had a lot of things to do but mainly it was just packing along with New Years! It has been quite a long week but here we are!
The week started out on Bornholm and ended in Ballerup! My new area!!! We got a lot of time to hang out with the Mogensen family and their children for New Year. They are an amazing family and they have really had a big effect on the Branch! We are happy to see them flourish!
On New Years we had to be back by 10:30, however, we still got a great view of the fireworks from Rønne! It was lovely to see them but we had a hard time falling asleep! The day after we had to travel on the ferry which did not help. The weather was terrible and the boat was rocking back and forth for hours on end. It was not a good experience and we both got sick on the trip over because of it!
However, being sick did not mean that we would deny all you can eat sushi again! So as expected we went to the all you can eat place and got sushi again! It tasted amazing and it was honestly such a fun experience to do again! It was the final hurrah with my last district!
After getting to Ballerup we spared no time in getting to work and finding people! We have been working really hard over the last couple of days to find people to teach and to invite to Church! We have seen some miracles! Some people happened to just be looking for something or felt a strong prompting to write to us. We have been blessed and I know that I meant to be in this area. We have already met so many members and had some really fun eating appointments.
The theme of this week for me has been a fresh start! A fresh new year with a new area and a new companion! It really is a good time to see what matters and what needs to be focused on! That is something we need to remember a lot as missionaries! Sometimes the dull reminders make the difference between a life free from dumb mistakes and a life filled with laziness and procrastination! Set some goals and make them understandable and reachable!
A quote from the Danish King during New Years!
"MÅ GUD BEVARE DANMARK"
(May God preserve Denmark)
Thank you all for your support and I hope that you can have a Happy New Year!
Love,
Elder Lines
